Anesthesia and Critical Care Team of GJMH, Agroha is comprising of two highly experienced critical care experts and anaesthesiologists. They have a combined experience of more than 15 years. The team is well versed with providing anesthesia to all kind of patients undergoing various laparoscopic/ minimally invasive procedures, Cancer Surgeries, endourological surgeries, surgeries in high risk group (elderly patients, diabetic patients, cardiac patients, chronic kidney failure patients etc). They are also well versed in providing the intensive care to the sick patients of critical care units.

The following are the scope of services:

Operation Theatre Services

• Anesthesia to the Elective/ Emergency surgery patients
• Regional/ General Anesthesia/ Nerve Blocks/ MAC
• Anesthesia for various procedures like CT/USG guided procedures / Endoscopy / Interventions
• Anesthesia for Daycare procedures

Anesthesia Clinic

• Pre-Anesthesia Clinic - evaluation of preoperative patients prior to surgery
• Evaluation of drug allergy preoperatively

Pain Clinic

• Nerve blocks for chronic pain
• Palliative services for cancer patients

Critical Care Services

• The intensivist are the primary care point of all critically sick patients in the ICU and provide round the clock cover to the sick patients. They also provide critical services to the sick neonates also in the NICU.
